On August 21, the opening ceremony of the 2024 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week was held in Guiyang. During the event, Vice President Wang Jinrong signed a cooperation agreement with the Royal Academy of Cambodia on behalf of Guizhou University. The agreement is entitled “Cooperation on the Technology of Artificial Breeding of Trichogramma for Biological Control of Rice Stem Borer.”
Guizhou University will provide free support to theRoyal Academy of Cambodia in establishing atrichogramma natural enemy breeding factory. The University will also widely promote and demonstrate the technology of using trichogramma for biological control of rice stem borers on a large scale at its rice production bases.
